The company confirmed that its new 5G smartphone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Generation 1 chipset with a 6.7″ screen, 4,700mAh battery and a slightly new design on the back. It also has a new sound/light system. The company is unlikely to include a charger in the Phone 2 because it didn’t come with one on the first generation product. For now, the details of the rear and front cameras sensors are not known. The company also promises to provide three years of Android OS updates and four years security patches for the Nothing Phone 2. This will allow users to continue using the device over a longer time period.

In India, the price of Nothing Phone 2 could range from Rs 40,000 up to Rs 45,000.

The iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro.

The iPhone 15 will launch this September. The new models are expected to feature a punch-hole design. According to reports, the regular models will have glass back panels. Apple is said to be planning to replace the existing Mute button with a brand new one. It could work similarly to the customizable Action button on Apple Watch Ultra. The new Mute button will be available only on the iPhone 15 Pro models. Regular versions will still have the old mute feature. According to leaks, we will continue to see large bumps for the camera on the back panel of flagship phones. Apple will also offer the iPhone 15 with thinner bezels, giving users more screen real estate for better content consumption. Many leaks have indicated that Apple’s Lightning connector will be replaced by a USB Type C port in this year’s iPhones.

Apple’s Bionic A16 processor is likely to be found under the hood of the iPhone 15. Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro models are likely to use its new Bionic A17 chip, as these will be the most expensive iPhones of the year. Battery and charging details remain unknown. Apple should offer faster charging speeds, as even budget Android devices support at least 30W charging technology. Apple should support faster charging speeds, as even budget Android phones offer at least 30W.

According to reports, regular versions will feature 48-megapixel camera systems similar to those found on the Pro models in the iPhone 14 series. This would be an upgrade from the 12-megapixel sensors found on the current iPhone models. Standard models will not have a LiDAR or telephoto lenses for optical zoom. These features are only available on higher-end models. The Pro Max is said have a larger camera module that includes periscope lenses with up to 6x optical zoom, as well as other sensors.

The iPhone 15 will be priced between Rs 80,000 to Rs 16,000, and the Pro versions are expected to see a price increase of $200 (roughly Rs 16,400) over the older models.

Recall that the iPhone 14 Pro was priced in India at Rs 1,29900 (roughly Rs 82380). The same model was launched in the US at $999 (roughly Rs 82380). If the company increases the price $200, the price in the US would be $1199. Converted, this is approximately Rs 98.850 in India. However, don’t expect Apple will launch the iPhone 15 Pro in India at the same price because of GST, customs, and other fees that they apply. India’s price for the iPhone 14 Pro was nearly Rs 47,500 more than that of the US market. The iPhone 15 Pro models are likely to be expensive.

OnePlus Nord 3

The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to launch in India very soon. This is because the company announced that its next Nord smartphone will be unveiled soon. According to leaks, OnePlus Nord 3 will feature a display with a resolution of 1.5K and 120Hz, measuring 6.74 inches. It is likely to be AMOLED, as it always has been with the original Nord series. MediaTek Dimensity SoC could be found under the hood. It is a high-end chipset that is also used in the recently released OnePlus Pad. If the OnePlus Nord 3 uses the same chip then you can expect a high-performance device. The brand has not confirmed anything.

We could see a triple-camera setup at the rear, with a primary camera of 50 megapixels. The 8-megapixel sensor could be accompanied with a 2-megapixel lens. The 5G phone will reportedly have a 16-megapixel front camera. The company is said to have retained its signature alert slider, which can be found on some OnePlus smartphones.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is likely to ship with Android 13 OS because Android 14 OS has not been released yet. The battery is reported to be a standard 5,000mAh. In the retail packaging, the company is likely to include a charger. The OnePlus Nord 3 may be able to support 80W fast charging technology.

In India, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 will likely be priced below Rs 30,000.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

Samsung will unveil its new Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone on 27 July at its Unpacked event. Yogesh brar claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Leaks suggest the phone will also feature a 6.2″ HD+ AMOLED external display and a 7.6″ QXGA+ folding display with 120Hz refresh rate. Leaked information suggests that the battery will be 4,400mAh like its predecessor. This may disappoint some users because of its small size and require more frequent charging.

Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 may also feature a selfie camera under the display as well as one on the front panel. Rumors suggest that the selfie camera will have a 4-megapixel resolution, while an outer camera with a 10-megapixel resolution is possible. Brar also mentioned that new image sensors could be used, but it’s not known if the company would use them for all of the sensors or just replace certain lenses.

Twitter tipster Revegnus claimed that the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 would cost less than the Galaxy Z Fold 4 Recall that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 launched in India at Rs. 1,54,999, for the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

Pixel 8 Series

If we look at previous launches, the Google Pixel 8 will launch in October of 2023. It will likely feature the Tensor G3 SoC, which is the latest generation. It is possible that the Pixel 8 will still only have two sensors on the back. However, the Pro version may include three. We can still expect an upgrade to the camera department, however, as there may be new hardware, and Google’s image processing tech.

It is expected that the Pixel 8 series will offer a 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 ISOCELL wide sensor to improve photos in low light. The Pro version may include an upgraded ultra-wide angle lens. The phone could include a Sony IMX787 camera sensor to take ultra-wide pictures. According to reports, the regular Pixel 8 will continue to have a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera using a Sony IMX386. The Pixel 8 Pro’s third sensor could be the same as the one used last year, a Samsung GM5 48-megapixel camera. Google could improve its processing abilities, but it may also offer a 5x zoom. It is rumoured that the selfie camera in the Pixel 8 series will be the same camera as last year. This is an 11-megapixel Samsung GM5 sensor.
